Week of September 6-10 Religion: Chapter 3 - "We Show Our Love for One Another" Reading: The "Weekly Assessment" will be on Thursday, Sept. 9th. The quiz over the story will be on Friday, Sept. 10th. Please review the following vocabulary words with your child: perfect, manage, challenge, scratch, healthy, appetite, satisfy Spelling: Test Friday, Sept. 10th Book List: mild, sky, pie, might, find, fight, ties, right, fry, tight, child, flight, bright, buy, dye, soak, bowl, gold, wind, children Challenge List: NO challenge list due to a short week!!! * The last five words are the "review" and "challenge" words from the book. They will always be the same for both lists! :) Bonus word: ??? Grammar: We are learning about compound sentences this week. The assessment will be on Friday, Sept. 10th. GRAMMAR WORKSHOP Pages 28 & 29 (Thursday) Math: Students will complete the "homework side" of their Saxon math paper on Monday and Wednesday! Social Studies: Chapter 2 - "Communities of Different Sizes"; The test will be on Wednesday, Sept. 15th! A study guide will be sent home on Monday!!! Science: Chapter 2 - "Types of Plants"; Don't forget to study the "study guide"!!! The test is on Friday, Sept. 10th! Our Daily Schedule
